🎨 The Creative Corner (Science & Art)
🏃 Summer Fit & Fun (Body & Mind)
👨👩👧👦 Family Fun Zone (Connection)
🧩 Explorer’s Puzzle (New Puzzles!)
Day 1: The Kitchen Connection
🧠 Brain Boosters: Number Ninjas (Math)
Classes 3,4,&5: Go to the kitchen and look at the "Net Weight" (grams/kg) on a packet of rice, salt, and spice. On a piece of paper, write the name of each item and its weight. Add the total weight of all three items together. (Remember: 1kg = 1000g!)
🎨 The Creative Corner: Young Scientists’ Lab
Get a small cup. Dampen a few pieces of cotton with water and place them inside. Put 4 or 5 green grams (moong dal) or beans on top. Place it near a window, but not in direct, scorching sun. Log your observations for Day 1 in your folder.
🏃 Summer Fit & Fun: Water Warrior
Morning Task: Before the sun gets too hot (around 7-8 AM), water all the indoor and balcony plants in your house. Be a careful warrior; make sure you don't overwater!
👨👩👧👦 Family Fun Zone: Kitchen Chemist
Help an adult make a glass of fresh lemonade. Use a clear glass. As you add the sugar and a pinch of salt, stir and watch what happens. Observation: Where did the sugar and salt go? They "disappeared" because they dissolved in the water!
🧩 Explorer’s Puzzle: Number Logic
Sudoku-Style Fruit Challenge: Draw a small grid on paper. Can you arrange drawings of an apple, a banana, a grape, and a mango so that each fruit appears only once in each row and each column? Use numbers (1 for apple, 2 for banana, etc.) if it's easier!
