పిల్ల చీమ సందేహం
ఒక పుట్టలో పుట్టిన బుజ్జి చీమ తొలిసారిగా బయట ప్రపంచాన్ని
చూడడానికి వచ్చింది. చెట్లు, చేమలు, పక్షులు, జంతువులను
చూడగానే ఆ పిల్ల చీమకు ఆశ్చర్యం వేసింది. వాటి ముందు తాను చాలా చిన్నగా ఉన్నానని
బాధ పడింది. కాసేపటికి పే.. ద్ద ఏనుగు దానికి ఎదురైంది. అదైతే ఏకంగా ఆకాశాన్ని
తాకుతున్నట్లే ఉంది. దాన్ని చూడగానే చీమ కళ్లు చెదిరాయి. ఏనుగు తన బలమైన తొండంతో
చెట్ల కొమ్మలను విరిచి తినడం విచిత్రంగా తోచింది. అలా చూస్తుండగానే.. ఓ కోతి ఒక
చెట్టు నుంచి మరో చెట్టు మీదకు అమాంతం దూకింది. దానికి దొరికిన కాయలు, పండ్లు
ఎంచక్కా పొట్ట నిండా తింది. ఆ పక్కనే ఓ పే..ద్ద కొండచిలువ ఏదో జీవిని నోటకరుచుకుని
మింగేయడానికి ప్రయత్నిస్తోంది.
వాటన్నింటిని
చూసిన తర్వాత చీమకు తన మీద తనకు మరింత అసహ్యం వేసింది. ‘అబ్బా..
జీవితమంటే వాటిది. నాదీ ఒక బతుకేనా?’ అనుకొని బాధ పడింది.
తనకు వాటిలా బతికే అవకాశం లేకుండా చేసిన భగవంతుడి మీద కోపం కూడా వచ్చింది. బయటకు
వెళ్లి చాలా సమయమైనా ఇంకా తన దగ్గరకు రాని పిల్ల చీమను వెతుక్కుంటూ తల్లి చీమ
అక్కడకు చేరింది. తన తల్లిని చూసిన పిల్ల చీమ ‘అమ్మా.. అమ్మా..’ అంటూ పిలుస్తూ
అక్కున చేరింది. ‘అమ్మా.. ఆ జీవులు చూడు ఎంత పెద్దవో.. కావాల్సిన ఆహారం
చక్కగా తింటున్నాయి. ఛీ.. ఏమిటో.. ఈ భగవంతుడు మనల్ని ఇలా పుట్టించాడు’ అని
బాధపడింది.
దానికి
తల్లి చీమ.. ‘ఇప్పుడేమైందని అంతలా బాధపడుతున్నావ్’ అంది. ‘అలా
అంటావేంటి అమ్మ. మనదీ ఒక బతుకేనా.. గట్టిగా గాలి వీస్తే చెల్లాచెదురయ్యే జీవితాలు
మనవి. బతికున్నన్ని రోజులు బరువులెత్తుతూ చాకిరీ చేయాలి మనం. ఆ ఏనుగులా మనం
ఘీంకరించగలమా? సింహంలా గర్జించగలమా? ఆ పక్షుల్లా
కిలకిలరావాలు పలికించగలమా? ఆ చిరుతపులిలా మెరుపువేగంతో పరుగెత్తగలమా? అదిగో ఆ
లేడిలా చెంగుచెంగున గెంతగలమా?.. ఇవేమీ చేయలేం మనం. మరి మనది జీవితం ఎలా
అవుతుంది’ అని పిల్లచీమ
ఏడ్చింది.
పిల్ల
చీమను ఎలా ఓదార్చాలో.. తనను ఎలా దారిలోకి తెచ్చుకోవాలో తల్లి చీమకు అర్థం కావడం
లేదు. ఎంత చెప్పినా పిల్ల చీమ వినడం లేదు. ఇంతలోనే కొందరు తుపాకులు, విల్లులు, తాళ్లు, కర్రలు, ఇనుప
గొలుసులతో దాడి చేస్తూ అడవి మీద పడ్డారు. దొరికిన జంతువును దొరికినట్లు బంధించారు.
వాటన్నింటినీ లారీల్లో ఎక్కించుకుని చక్కా పోయారు.
‘అయ్యయ్యో.. ఎందుకమ్మా.. ఆ సింహాన్ని, పులిని, జింకల్ని, పక్షుల్ని, కొండచిలువల్ని, నక్కల్ని..
ఇలా కనిపించిన ప్రతి జీవినీ బంధించుకుని తీసుకొనిపోయారు. ఇంతకీ వాటిని ఏం
చేస్తారమ్మా’ అని భయపడుతూ పిల్ల చీమ తల్లిని అడిగింది.
‘వాళ్లు స్మగ్లర్లు అమ్మా.. ఇప్పుడు బంధించిన జీవుల్లో కొన్నింటిని వాటి
గోర్లు, చర్మం కోసం చంపేస్తారు. మరికొన్నింటిని సర్కస్ వాళ్లకు
అమ్మేస్తారు. ఆ సర్కస్వాళ్లేమో వాటితో ఆటలాడించి సొమ్ము చేసుకుంటారు. అవి
చచ్చిపోయేంత వరకూ పాపం బందీగా బతకాల్సిందే’ అని చెప్పింది తల్లి
చీమ. ‘అమ్మా.. మరి వాళ్లు మనల్ని ఎందుకు బంధించలేదు’ అని పిల్ల చీమ
అనుమానం వ్యక్తం చేసింది. ‘మనతో వాళ్లకేం పని ఉండదు. అసలు వాళ్ల దృష్టి
మన మీద పడితేగా.. కావాలని చూస్తే తప్ప మనం మనుషులకు కనిపించంగా.. అదే మనకు రక్షణ’ అంది
తల్లిచీమ.
‘అయ్యో.. దేవుడా.. నిన్ను అనవసరంగా తిట్టాను. నన్ను చీమలా పుట్టించి నాకు
ఎంతో మేలు చేశావు. నేను మరో జీవిలా పుట్టి ఉంటే.. ఇప్పుడు వేటగాళ్ల చేతులకు
చిక్కేదాన్ని. ఎన్ని జన్మలైనా సరే నన్ను చీమగానే పుట్టించు’ అని పిల్ల చీమ
వేడుకుంది. ‘ఈ సృష్టిలో ప్రతి జీవీ గొప్పదే. దేని ప్రత్యేకత
దానికి ఉంటుంది. ఎవరికి ఉండే సంతోషాలు, కష్టాలు వాళ్లకుంటాయి.
మనకుండే ఆపదలూ మనకు ఉంటాయి. మన పని మనం చేసుకుంటూ వెళ్లడమే. దేని గురించీ అతిగా
ఆలోచించి మనసు పాడు చేసుకోవద్దు’ అని తల్లి చీమ పిల్ల చీమకు హితబోధ చేసింది.
అప్పటి నుంచి పిల్ల చీమ ఉన్న దాంట్లోనే ఆనందంగా బతకడం అలవాటు చేసుకుంది.

Baby ant doubts
Born in an
anthill, the buzzy ant came to see the outside world for the first time. Seeing trees , ants , birds and animals, the child
ant was surprised. He felt sad that he was too small in front of them. After a
while, the elephant came across it. It is like touching the sky at once. Seeing
it, the ant's eyes widened. The elephant used its strong trunk to break the branches
of the trees and eat them strangely. While watching that, a monkey jumped from
one tree to another. She picked the nuts and fruits she found and ate to her
stomach. Next to that, a python is trying to swallow some creature with its
mouth.
After seeing
all that, the ant felt even more disgusted with himself. ' Wow.. Life is theirs.
Is mine a life ?' It hurt to think. He also got angry with God who made him unable
to live like them. The mother ant went out looking for the baby ant who had not
come to her for a long time. Seeing her mother, the baby ant joined her sister
calling ' Mama...Mama.. ' . ' Mama.. Look how big those creatures are.. They are eating
the required food well. She was sad that what.. what.. this God has made us like this .
The mother
ant said, ' You are so sad that this has just happened ' . ' What do you mean mom?
We are only one life.. We are lives that can be scattered if a strong wind
blows. We have to do heavy work for as many days as we live. Can we roar like
that elephant ? Can you roar like a lion ? Can we chirp like those birds ? Can you run with
lightning speed like that leopard ? Can we jump like that lady ? And how will our life
be ' cried the ant.
The mother
ant does not understand how to comfort the baby ant. No matter how much you
say, the child ant does not listen. Meanwhile, some attacked the forest
with guns , bows , ropes , sticks and iron chains. The found animal was captured as
found. All of them were loaded in lorries and cleared away.
' Ayyyy.. why.. that lion , tiger , deer , birds , pythons , jackals.. Every
creature that appeared like this was captured and taken away. The baby ant asked
her mother, being afraid, " What are you going to do with them? "
' They are smugglers,
mother.. Now some of the captured creatures are killed for their nails and skin. Others are sold
to circus people. They play with those circus people and make money. They have
to live in captivity until they die, ' said the mother ant. ' Mom..why didn't they
arrest us ' said the baby ant in doubt. They have no business with
us. Even if their eyes fall on us.. unless we want to, we are invisible to
humans.. that is our protection ' said mother ant.
' Oh.. God.. I cursed
you unnecessarily. You made me an ant and did me a lot of good. If I had been
born as another creature.. I would have fallen into the hands of poachers. No
matter how many births, give birth to me as an ant, ' pleaded the baby ant. ' Every creature in
this creation is great. What is special about it? Everyone has happiness and difficulties. We have
our own dangers. Our job is to do what we do. Don't spoil your mind by thinking
too much about anything ,' said the mother ant to the child ant. Since then, the
child has become accustomed to living happily where the ant is.
