STORY READING :

ఒక రాజ్యం లో ఒక బిచ్చగాడు ఉండేవాడు. అతను రాజభవంతి దగ్గరలో ఉంటూ రోజూ, ఆ భవంతిలోని రాజుగారిని దూరం నుండి చూస్తూ ఉండేవాడు.

ఒకరోజు రాజుగారు అందరికీ విందు ఇస్తున్నారు అనేవార్త విన్నాడు. ఇది విన్న ఆ బిచ్చగాడికి ఒక ఆశ పుట్టింది. తన దుస్తులు చూసుకున్నాడు అన్ని చిరిగిపోయాయి. ఎలాగైనా రాజుగారి నుండి మంచి దుస్తులు సంపాదించాలని అనుకున్నాడు.

రాజభవనము దగ్గరకి వెళ్లి కాపలా వారిని బ్రతిమిలాడి, దర్బారులోకి ప్రవేశము సంపాదించాడు. ఎంతో ధైర్యం కూడగట్టుకొని , చాలా వినయంగా రాజు దర్భారులోకి ప్రవేశించాడు. అతన్ని చూడగానే రాజు. “నీకేమి కావాలి” అని అడిగాడు .దానికి ఆ బిచ్చగాడు రాజు గారికి వంగి వంగి దండాలు పెడుతూ ఇట్లా అన్నాడు. “రాజా! నాకు మీరు ఇస్తున్న విందుకు రావాలని వుంది. దయచేసి తమ పాత దుస్తులు ఇప్పిస్తే అవి ధరించి విందుకు వస్తాను. నా దగ్గర చినిగిన బట్టలు మాత్రమే ఉన్నాయి.

రాజుగారు వెంటనే తన పాత దుస్తులను తెప్పించి బిచ్చగాడికిస్తూ “ఈ దుస్తులు చినిగిపోవు, మాసిపోవు వాటిపై దుమ్ము పడదు ,ఎందుకంటే ఇవి ఎంతో ప్రత్యేకమైనవి. నీవు ఎప్పటికి వీటిని ధరించవచ్చు”. అన్నాడు.

బిచ్చగాడి ,కళ్ళ వెంట నీరు రాగా రాజుగారికి ధన్యవాదములు చెప్పాడు. ఆ దుస్తులు తన గదికి తెచ్చుకొని ధరించి అద్దములో చూచుకొని మురిసిపోయాడు బిచ్చగాడు .

అయితే రాజు గారు ఎంత చెప్పినా, బిచ్చగాడికి ఆ రాజు గారి దుస్తులు చినిగిపోతే ఎట్లా అనే భయం పట్టుకొంది . ఎందుకైనా మంచిదని పాతదుస్తులన్నీ ఒక మూట కట్టి తనవెంట త్రిప్పేవాడు. రాజు దుస్తులు చినిగితే తన పాత దుస్తులు ధరించవచ్చు అని.

రాజుగారిచ్చిన విందు భోంచేస్తున్నంతసేపు ఆనందంగా లేదు. బైట ఎక్కడో దాచిన తన పాత దుస్తుల మూట ఎవరన్నా ఎక్కడన్నా పారవేస్తారేమో అని భయం.

క్రమంగా రాజుగారి మాటలలోని సత్యం తెలిసివచ్చింది . ఎన్ని రోజులు ధరించినా దుమ్ము పడలేదు . కొత్తవిగానే వున్నాయి. కానీ తన పాత దుస్తులపై మమకారంతో ఆ మూట వదిలేవాడు కాదు. అతని తోటి వారు అతనిని చూసి, ధరించిందేమో రాజు దుస్తులు మోసేదెమో పాత గుడ్డలు అని హేళన చేస్తూ , “పీలిక గుడ్డల మనిషి ” అని పేరు పెట్టారు. చివరగా ఆ బిచ్చగాడు చనిపోవుటకు సిద్ధముగా ఉండి మంచం పై నుండి లేవలేక పోయేవాడు.

పక్కనున్న జనాలు అతని తలగడ దగ్గర ఉన్న పాతబట్టల మూటను చూశారు. అది చూసి, ఎంత విలువైన చిరగని ,తరగని దుస్తులు ధరించినా కూడా బిచ్చగాడికి ,ఆ పాత బట్టల మూటపై వ్యామోహం పోలేదు.

వాటి సంరక్షణ కోసమే జీవితం అంతా గడిపి , ఏ రోజూ సంతోషమును పొందలేదు గదా ! అని బాధ పడ్డారు.

ఇది ఒక బిచ్చగాడి కథ మాత్రమే కాదు! మనం అందరమూ కూడా ఈ అనుభవాల మూటలను పట్టుకొని, వదలకుండా మోస్తూ ఉంటాము .

అవి ఏమిటంటే శత్రుత్వము, ఈర్ష్య ,ద్వేషము ,కోపము ,తన భాధలు మొదలగునవి ఎన్నో జ్ఞాపకాలు. అంతే కాదు ఈ భావనలతో మాటి మాటికీ దుర్గుణాలను, దుఃఖాన్ని గుర్తుతెచ్చుకుంటూ జీవితంలోని అందమైన, సంతోషమైన వాటిని అనుభవించలేము , గుర్తించలేము కూడా! ఎపుడో, ఎక్కడో జరిగిన సంఘటనలను ఎక్కడకిక్కడ, ఎప్పటికప్పుడు వదలకుండా ఒక పెద్ద పనికిరాని పాతబట్టల మూట లాగా, ఆ జ్ఞాపకాల బరువును మోస్తూ ఉండటమే అనేక బాధలకు, అశాంతికి కారణము.

In a kingdom there was a beggar. He used to stay near the palace and used to watch the king in that palace from afar .

One day he heard the news that the king was giving dinner to everyone . Hearing this, the beggar got a hope. He took care of his clothes all torn. Anyway, he wanted to get good clothes from the king .

He went to the palace and defeated the guards and gained entry into the court. Gathering a lot of courage , the king entered the court very humbly. When the king saw him. He asked, "What do you want?" The beggar bowed to the king and said this. “King! I want to come to your dinner party. Please wear their old clothes and come to the dinner. I have only tattered clothes.

Rajugaru immediately took out his old clothes and begged, "These clothes do not get torn , they do not get dusty , because they are very special. You can wear these forever”. He said.

The beggar thanked the king when water came to his eyes. The beggar brought that dress to his room, put it on and looked in the mirror .

But no matter what the king said , the beggar was afraid of what if the king's clothes were torn. He used to tie all the old clothes in a bundle and carry them with him. If the king's clothes are worn out, he can wear his old clothes.

There is no happiness as long as the feast given by the king is eaten . He is afraid that someone will throw his old clothes hidden somewhere outside .

Gradually the truth in the king's words came to be known. No matter how many days I wore it, it did not get dusty. They are new. But he didn't leave the wrapper on his old clothes . His peers looked at him and taunted him that he was wearing old rags or that he was wearing royal clothes and nicknamed him “ Man of Yellow Rags”. Finally the beggar was ready to die and could not get out of bed.

People nearby saw the bundle of old clothes near his head . Seeing that , the beggar could not lose his nostalgia for that bundle of old clothes , no matter how valuable he wore .

He spent all his life for their care , but he never got happy every day! They were sad.

This is not just a beggar's story! We all hold onto these bundles of experiences and carry them around without letting go .

They are enmity , jealousy , hatred , anger , feelings and many memories. Not only that, we can't experience and recognize the beautiful and happy things in life while reminding each other of vices and sorrows with these feelings ! Carrying the weight of those memories like a big bundle of useless old clothes without letting go of the events that happened somewhere , somewhere , is the cause of many pains and restlessness .
