AP SA2/CBA3 Timetable 2026: AP School Education department
has released timetable for conducting Summative Assessment-2(SA2). The
proceedings Rc.No.ESE:02-11021/19/2025-SCERT
Dt:31-03-2026 regarding Time Table of SA2/CBA3 released by Commissioner
of School Education(CSE). Students are advised to go through the AP SCERT
textbooks before going to appear SA2/CBA3 examinations. The complete
information regarding the SA2 Time Table 2026 is as follows.
The kind attention of all RJD and DEOs in the Andhra Pradesh state is invited to the certain instructions have been given for the functioning of schools as per the proceedings of the Commissioner of School Education(CSE), AP. Further to conduct the Classroom Based Assessment-3(CBA3), SA2 for the academic year 2025-26 commencing from April 6, 2026, across the state prescribing the timing for the both forenoon and afternoon.

SA2/CBA3 Exams Forenoon Only
Keeping in view of above it has been decided to conduct the Summative-2/CBA3 exams for all classes 1st to 8th Class during the forenoon only i.e from 9.15 AM to 12.30 PM. the schedule is herewith communicated for taking necessary action in this regard.

Note:
- 1. For class VIII, the Science exam will consist of two papers: PS and BS. Each paper for 40 marks that includes 10 MCQs, 3 short answer questions, 2 long answer questions, and 2 very long answer questions.
- 2. Syllabus: Complete syllabus both SEM- I and SEM -II textbooks as mentioned in the Academic Calendar.
Instructions to be followed for SA2
- Question papers will be stored securely at the cluster complex for 1stto 5th classes and at MRC for 6th to 8th classes.
- A three-men committee shall be constituted at the MRC level, comprising MEO-1, MEO-2, and a Headmaster, and at the Cluster Complex level, comprising the Cluster Complex Headmaster, a Cluster Senior School Assistant, and a Cluster Resource Person (RP).
- These committees will be responsible for preserving, securely storing, and distributing confidential materials as per guidelines. They will be the custodians of the preserved papers.
- Question paper bundles will be handed over to the concerned schools only one hour prior to the commencement of the examination in each session.
- School complex HM and MEOs must ensure the integrity of the question papers. They, along with Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs), should visit schools during examination hours to verify that the examinations are being conducted smoothly and fairly.
- In case of any untoward incidents, School complex HMs, MEOs and CRPs should report immediately to higher officials.
- MEOs and CRPs should focus on monitoring examination conduction procedures in all management of schools.
- The evaluation of answer scripts must be completed by April 20, 2026.
- The issuance of progress cards must be completed by April 22, 2026.
- Therefore, all the Regional Joint Directors of School Education and the District Educational officers are requested to take necessary action accordingly.
- Any deviations found in procedure will be viewed seriously.
