  • Total given to wife and son = 50,753 + 75,928 = ₹1,26,681.
  • Amount daughter gets = 1,97,865 - 1,26,681 = ₹71,184.

b) Find the distance between Yashu's house and Vijaya's house.

  • 200m + 200m + 200m = 600 meters.

c) Which way is nearer to school for Yashu? Temple road or Hospital road?

  • Temple road (1000m) is nearer compared to Hospital road (200+200+200+200+300 = 1100m).

d) How much distance does Yashu have to cover to reach the school via temple road? Is it equal to 1km?

  • Distance = 200m (to Bus) + 400m (to Temple) + 400m (to School) = 1000m. Yes, it is equal to 1 km.
