అవ్వ - మేక
ఒక ఊరిలో ఒక అవ్వ ఉండేది. ఆ అవ్వ దగ్గర ఒక మేక ఉండేది. ఆ మేకను రోజూ మేతకు పిలుచుకు పోయేది. ఒక రోజున అవ్వకు జ్వరం వచ్చింది. అపుడు మేక అవ్వ దగ్గరకు వచ్చింది. "అవ్వా, అవ్వా! ఏమి ఆలోచిస్తున్నావు?" అని అడిగింది. అపుడు అవ్వ "ఏమీ లేదు మేకా, నాకు జ్వరం వచ్చింది; నిన్ను మేతకు ఎలా పిలుచుకుపోవాలి?" అన్నది. అప్పుడు మేక " ఏమీ ఒద్దులే అవ్వా, నేను ఎర్రకొండకు పోయి ఎండుగడ్డి మేసి వస్తా; పచ్చకొండకు పోయి పచ్చగడ్డి మేసి వస్తా" అని ఒక్కతే బయలుదేరింది.
అలా పోతూ పోతూ ఒక నక్క దగ్గరకు వెళ్లింది. అప్పుడు ఆ నక్క "నాకు చాలా ఆకలేస్తోంది, నిన్ను తినేస్తాను" అని బెదిరించింది. "ఒద్దు నక్క బావా, నక్కబావా, ఎర్రకొండకు పోయి ఎండుగడ్డి మేసి వస్తా; పచ్చకొండకు పోయి పచ్చగడ్డి మేసి వస్తా, అప్పుడు నన్ను తిందువులే" అన్నది మేక. నక్క "సరే" అని ఒప్పుకున్నది. "మళ్లీ రావాలి, తప్పకుండా" అని చెప్పి పంపింది అది.
తరువాత మేక నడుస్తూ నడుస్తూంటే ఒక తోడేలు ఎదురైంది. "నాకు ఆకలేస్తోంది, నిన్ను తినేస్తాను" అన్నది. "వద్దు తోడేలు బావా, తోడేలు బావా, ఎర్రకొండకు పోయి ఎండుగడ్డి మేసి వస్తా; పచ్చకొండకు పోయి పచ్చగడ్డి మేసి వస్తా, అప్పుడు నన్ను తిందువులే" అన్నది మేక. అపుడు ఆ తోడేలు సరే అని ఒప్పుకున్నది.
అపుడు మేక నడుస్తూ, నడుస్తూ ఒక పులి దగ్గరకు వెళ్ళింది. అపుడు పులి "నాకు చాలా ఆకలేస్తోంది, నిన్ను తినేస్తాను" అని బెదిరించింది. అందరికీ చెప్పిన విధంగానే ఆ పులికి కూడా చెప్పింది. ఆ పులి కూడా "సరే తొందరగా వచ్చేయి, నాకు చాలా ఆకలివేస్తోంది." అన్నది .
అలా పోతూ పోతూ ఆ మేక ఒక సింహం దగ్గరకు వెళ్ళింది. "నాకు చాలా ఆకలేస్తోంది, నిన్ను తినేస్తాను" అన్నది సింహం. అపుడు మేక " వద్దు సింహం బావా, వద్దు. ఎర్రకొండకు పోయి ఎండుగడ్డి మేసి వస్తా; పచ్చకొండకు పోయి పచ్చగడ్డి మేసి వస్తా" అన్నది. సింహంకూడా ఒప్పుకున్నది.
అపుడు మేక ఎర్రకొండకు పోయి ఎండుగడ్డి మేసి, పచ్చకొండకు పోయి పచ్చగడ్డి మేసింది. అక్కడే ఒక పెద్ద గుమ్మడికాయ కనబడింది దానికి. ఆ మేక గుమ్మడికాయలోకి దూరి కూర్చున్నది. "దొర్లు దొర్లు గుమ్మడికాయ్; దొర్ల కుంటే దోసకాయ్" అని బయలు దేరింది.
అలా పోతూ పోతూ ఉంటే సింహం ఎదురౌతుంది. అపుడు సింహం " ఇటుగా ఒక మేక పోయింది. నీవు ఏమైనా చూశావా" అన్నది. అపుడు ఆ గుమ్మడి కాయ "లేదు లేదు నేను వచ్చేదారిలో నాకు ఎవ్వరూ కనబడలేదు." అన్నది.
అలా పోతూ, ఉంటే పులి ఎదురైంది. అపుడు ఆ పులి " ఇటుగా ఒక మేక పోయింది. నీవు ఏమైనా చూశావా" అన్నది. అపుడు ఆ గుమ్మడి కాయ "లేదు, లేదు నేను వచ్చేదారిలో నాకు ఎవ్వరూ కనబడలేదు." అన్నది. తరువాత "దొర్లు దొర్లు గుమ్మడికాయ దొర్ల కుంటే దోసకాయ్" అంటూ ఆ గుమ్మడికాయ తోడేలు దగ్గరకు వెళ్లింది. అపుడు ఆ తోడేలు " ఇటువైపుగా ఒక మేక పోయింది. నీవు ఏమైనా చూశావా" అన్నది. అపుడు ఆ గుమ్మడికాయ "లేదు, లేదు" అంటూనే దొర్లుకుంటూ నక్క దగ్గరకు పోయింది. అప్పుడు ఆ నక్క " ఇటుగా ఒక మేక పోయింది. నీకు ఏమైనా కనబడిందా." అన్నది. "లేదు లేదు" అంటూనే ఆ గుమ్మడి కాయ వేగంగా దొర్లుకుంటూ పోయింది.
కానీ నక్క చాలా తెలివి గలది కదా, " అరే! గుమ్మడికాయ ఎక్కడైనా మాట్లాడుతుందా" అనుకుని, ఒక రాయిని తెచ్చి గుమ్మడికాయకు అడ్డం పెట్టింది. ఆ దెబ్బకు గుమ్మడికాయ చీలి పగిలి పోయింది. అప్పుడు ఆ మేక చెంగున బయటకు దూకి, నక్కకు అందకుండా తప్పించుకొని ఉరికెత్తుకుంటూ అవ్వ దగ్గరకు చేరుకున్నది. "ఎర్రకొండకు పోయి ఎండుగడ్డి మేసి వచ్చాను.పచ్చకొండకు పోయి పచ్చగడ్డి మేసి వచ్చాను." అని చెప్పింది సంతోషంగా.
There used to be an aunt in a village. That grandmother had a goat. That goat was called for grazing daily. One day she got fever. Then the goat came near. "Avva , avva! As he was walking away, a fox went to him. Then the fox threatened "I am very hungry , I will eat you". The goat said, "Oddu Nakka Bava , Nakka Bava , go to Errakonda and graze hay ; go to Pachakonda and graze green grass , then you will eat me." The fox agreed "OK". It sent saying "must come again , sure".
Later, while the goat was walking, he encountered a wolf. "I'm hungry , I'll eat you." The goat said, "No wolf brother , wolf brother , go to Errakonda and graze hay ; go to Pachakonda and graze green grass , then you will eat me." Then the wolf agreed that it was okay.
Then the goat walked and walked towards a tiger. Then the tiger threatened "I am very hungry , I will eat you". She told the tiger the same way she told everyone. The tiger also said, "Well come soon , I am very hungry." That is.
That goat went to a lion. "I am very hungry , I will eat you," said the lion. Then the goat said, "No, lion brother , no. Go to Errakonda and graze hay and come ; go to Pachakonda and graze green grass." Even the lion agreed.
Then the goat went to Errakonda and grazed hay and went to Pachakonda and grazed green grass. A big pumpkin was found there. The goat sat in the pumpkin. "Dorlu dorlu zukkank ; dosakai if you roll" she said.
If it goes on and on, the lion will meet. Then the lion said, "A goat has gone this way. Have you seen anything?" Then the pumpkin said, "No, no, I didn't see anyone on my way." That is.
While going like that , he met a tiger. Then the tiger said, "A goat has gone this way. Have you seen anything?" Then the pumpkin said, "No , no, I didn't see anyone on my way." That is. Then the pumpkin went to the wolf saying "Dorlu dorlu pukumkin dorla kunte dosakai". Then the wolf said, "A goat has gone this way. Have you seen anything?" Then the pumpkin said "No , no" and went to the fox. Then the fox said, "A goat has gone here. Have you seen anything?" That is. "No, no" said the gourd and kept rolling fast.
But the fox is very smart , he thought, " Hey! Does the pumpkin talk anywhere" and brought a stone and blocked the pumpkin. Due to that blow, the pumpkin split and broke. Then the goat leapt out , escaped from the fox and reached the grand mother. "I went to Errakonda and grazed hay. I went to Pachakonda and grazed green grass." She said happily.
